I took 3rd during the first session and then 2nd during the second session, taking $10 and $20 respectively.

Brian didn't place during the first session but took 3rd during the second session. That's $10 for him.

Since the buy in was $10, we basically just broke even. Of course, if you count other things then we really didn't come out ahead. :P
